Real-Time Research. Information Processing for Decision-Making at the UNLP School of Trades

Abstract
This research article presents the findings of the fieldwork carried out at the Escuela Universitaria de Oficios of the Secretaría de Políticas Sociales of the Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP) on the implementation of the blended learning pedagogical proposal in the 2023-2024 period. The main objective was to identify necessary adjustments to improve the design and implementation of the blended learning modality, within the framework of the theoretical-methodological perspective of Research-Management (I+G). The methodology used was based on the processing of quantitative and qualitative data from various sources: surveys of teachers and students, interviews with the management team, and documentary analysis. The results show the evolution of the proposal from full face-to-face learning, through emergency virtuality during the pandemic, to the current blended learning configuration. Twenty-eight resulting suggestions for improvement are presented, of which 20 were implemented in the design of the 2024 proposal. The results of student surveys on their experience in the regular and free modalities are also analyzed. The conclusions revolve around the power of the I+G methodology and the strength of the information obtained for decision-making and the continuous improvement of university management.
